Default Spider rigging Rods. Fiberglass vs Graphite

My rods I ordered from Grizzly arrived today. (prompt delivery) 14 ft fiberglass 2 piece (Fast cast brand)
maybe its just me, or maybe need to rig them with reels & line.....but the tips seem a little bouncey'er (spelling)
than what I expected. Would I have been better off going with graphite? Thanks for your response.

Wait until you get them rigged with reel, line and weight. Then see how much bend you have in the tip. Some of your Graphite rods also have very light tips. One thing it will do is let you see the really light bite.
