Headed down yesterday for the first time in over a month. We slow trolled in 15 to 20' water down 8' we didnt kill them I think we cleaned 15. I tell you I was just happy to get back out on the water. My sons scouts and campouts has had most of my weekends full. See ya all down this weekend

I've been several times this year and can only catch them in 15-18' deep around brush and trees and at about 8'. I heard that they went to the banks the day after I left about 2 weeks ago.

I'm fishing all weekend to make up for not being on the lake since camp weekend. Drifting for cats and dipping for crappie, going to try to wear out a fillet knife. Wife says I don't have a choice about going, getting too itchy or something that sounds like it.
