    Picked up new 7' Cabelas Pro Guide PTC (or some combination of those letters) ultralight rod today. Looks real nice for $44. Can't wait to try her out. Wanted another St Croix, but.... well I got kids that need shoes!

    I was looking at the light action. limber tip, with backbone starting at the right spot. good choice. let me know how she works out. I may grab one.
