Smithville 5/19

We fished up little platte again today. We got our 45 in 3 hours of fishing. Most were caught on blue/chart and white/chart. Lots of big fish caught today. I talked to one guy at the ramp as we were putting in and he said he caught a 18" crappie that went over 3lbs.

We got our 2 limits again today, same area for the past 4 days. Only difference, they wanted black and chart today.

I didn't get pics of that 18in crappie, the guy that caught it caught it on Sat in Linn creek area.

A friend and I where at Smithville today also. We fished from the banks and caught 9 each in about 2 hours in the morning. No luck for us after that lol

Congrats on findin some good fish can we get a few more details please, were they on the bank or how deep were they, time of day,water temp?

The bite is in the morning right now, twin coves and three fingers area. water temp is 70, they are right off the bank. A friend of mine went yesterday afternoon after I called him and said we were done, they only caught 8 keepers in the same area.
