Fresh and salt this weekend

Started the weekend by taking my daughter ,2 of her friends my son and the dog all crappie fishing I know sounds crazy all in a 16ft jon boat . It worked out well they all caught there share and had a ball ended up with 53 crappie on the clicker plus 3 yellow perch. Daughter took pics got to get her to send em to me so I can post em. Sat. morning took the other boat in the salty water to the spot me g-duck got those trout last spring ,got 1 rite away then a rockfish then nothing for awhile moved to a spot my Dad used to fish and they were there like years ago . I got 10 trout there up to 25 inches ,came home did yard work went back in the rain for the evening with G- duck and my daughters boyfriend and we got 31 trout but they were smaller this time 14 to 17 in. and we got 1 nice flounder. 1/4 once jig with chart gulp swimming mullet.kept 3 for dinner from the nite trip and the 25in. in the morn.

Wow, I had to look twice to make sure the report was from this year. Good catch and report. I hope that the population is on the upswing. I love those weakfish and speckled too.
