Had a good morning on LOZ

We put in at Coffman and was fishing by 6:15 at the latest and was one short of 2 limits at 8:30 or so. Decided to pull up and go hit another little cove that a friend of ours lived in. Stopped and talked to him for 30 minutes or so and he decided to go back out with us. Worked our way back out and put a few more in the boat. All in all I think we fish for about 3 or 3.5 hours total and ended up with 40 crappie in the live well. We fished in 10 to 13 foot of water, 7 foot down. We caught most of them on minnows but did pick up a few on silver and chartreuse curly tails tipped with a crappie nipple. Some hit pretty hard and others hit pretty light.
