    Default HAMMERING SoCal Crappie

Slammed the crappie big time at Isabella. We fished kissack cove on the point to the left; if facing the lake. Steady action all day. Bobby Garland Slab Slayr, Baby Shad, Power minnows. Fish wouldnt bite free jigged jigs. Had to put a bobber on and let the wind drift it around. It seems like their color choice would switch every so often. Black, grey, chartreuse, black/red, etc. Also scored my first white crappie (last pic). Got nothing better to do? Take a trip to socal!

How far to the nearest tree? Nice bunch of desert fish there, they'll fry up fine.
