    Default Green River Lake

My baby, (11 year old girl) and I are coming to Green River to the Holmes Bend ramp for fishing her first day out of school in the morning. She likes to floater fish with minnows best. I like to cast jigs or troll, but I guess we will be floater fishing. Any updated reports appreciated. Thanks guys and good fishing!

Let her drag a minner under a float, as you ease down the bank casting your jig then you'll both be doing the kind of fishing you like to do.

Check your PM's for a suggestion on where to start.

Look at the top of the page, under "Notifications" ... click on it & then on the link to the PM. Or click on your screen name & click on the PM link in the drop down menu.

I think the "shallow" bite may be over, but I can't say for sure ... as I've not been down there since the Spring Fling (Apr 27th).

Hopefully some of these yahoos, that fish there more consistently than me, can at least tell you what depth the fish are holding at. So be sure & check back here before you leave in the AM !!

My daughter and I fished until a little after lunch today and we had 16 keepers, a catfish and a great father and daughter day of fun. Thank you Crappiepappy for the PM!
I got a picture of my daughter on my Iphone holding a nice slab she caught after I retrieved it out the bucket of minnows. LOL. She was so excited and evidently I was too. Thank goodness for protective otterbox or it would be junk now. Another wonderful day of fishing! God is Great.
