It is in there The conservation agent mentioned it the other day in the ask the biologist thread, I said it on here several times, they called me crazy, but the agent backed me up. I think it was on a smithville report/question
I read a post earlier this year that discussed hours of daylight and how it related to the crappie spawn. I think I read it on this site, but I can't find it. Anyone hook me up with a link?

Beagle I agree to some points I think the length of day gets them started But I think the water temp. sends them in to spawn. If it was the length of day they would all be spawning all over the lake. But they seem to follow the water temp. here on Smithville!
May all your live wells be full.Dave
the length of day is different from the south to the north, the angle of the sun ,sunrise, set and water temp, yep I agree. but 66 dg. water and 8 hours of daylight no spawn
