    Boy was it windy today!

    On this trip I only took my crappie pole and was intent on catching my 30 fish limit of crappie.

    I believe that channel cats are one of the best eating freshwater fish we have in the U.S.

    Confused. Your tag says Mississippi, but you're posting in Missouri. Is this Bennet lake or Bennit lake. Bates county has one in Missouri and that is just down the road from my office in Butler.

    I have recently moved to Columbia MO, due to my crazy IT career. I joined crappie.com while I lived in N. Mississippi so that is the confusion...

    I am on Bennitt Lake which is within Rudolp Bennitt CA. It's about 19 miles N. of Columbia...
