Was wondering if anyone is catching by the discharge? Several years ago when the water was way high the backwater area to the left of the main flow was on fire with short 8 in crappie.

DUDE!!!........Cough up the report!!! It's 8:00 and past my bedtime!! I can't hold out much longer........

My bad fellas!!! Long dang day, up on the road at 3:15 and just now slowing down.

In a nutshell (for those who are sleepy), put in at Route U and ran UP...... FINALLY what i would call some semblance of a pattern today......Fished pockets with sun on them (steep banks) and started picking fish up shallow. It wasn't hot and heavy but we (dad and I) kept 25 with quite a few dink throwbacks. All 9.5" or better went home with us intended for a couple of older friends. Positive that we could have beat out our limit but we wanted to get back and walk for some mushrooms.....which paid off with a 5 lb. haul! When we thought we were too shallow....we caught them even more shallow. Water is still pretty muddy and lots of trash rolling around due to high winds, but it's getting close. Fish that we cleaned were all males...

I'm just glad we could finally deliver a positive report on Twain and I'll post a picture when I can keep my eyes open....

way to go Rob!! best MLT report in 3 months! now ya gotta stay on em for the next 3 weeks so ya can tell us where they are for the gathering weekend...
