Smithville with gotcrappie

We had a good time and a limit tonight. Mostly 10’s and 11’s but a few 12’s. I guess he can get out fished from either end of the boat Joyce.

Actually I have no idea how many keepers we caught because we threw a bunch back.

We invited a couple of guys and a kid to come take over our best spot in hopes the kid would catch a few. They said they never catch any fish at Smithville but after we showed them the spot they caught two before we got out of sight. Felt good to see them smile.

maybe i need to invite Dave to increase my chance of catching fish? seems like everyone he fishes with catches more than him! Good job on sharing the spot to put a smile on the kids face!

Sounds like my problem anymore too....Or it could be the guys in the boat next to me whacking them too lol. Nothing wrong with showing a dad and son how to get it done. Good Job. I am at work this morning but if the winds are not hurricane strength when I get off I will be up there tonight and tomorrow too.

Back up this AM with a much better lookin partner and another limit. Nothing huge but good 10 in plus is all we kept mostly males and threw a bunch back.. Even a couple of Green fish. Got my daughter using the 10 foot and she is hooked. I see a pink Ozark in my future.
