Default Anybody Like to Use The Weedless Charlie Brewer Crappie Sliders??

I used to love to drag them slowly across brushpiles but haven't used them in a few years. May have to give them another try. Junebug/Chart. was my favorite.

Love the junebug/char slider grub, but was less than impressed with the slider jighead. Though, I really have to admit that I never gave them much of a trial, before discounting them. It just seemed that the 1/16oz head felt more like using a 1/32oz ballhead ... it just didn't seem to fall at the same rate as my 1/16oz ballheads.
I was also (at the time) concerned about using UL's & 4lb test, as I wasn't sure they'd be sufficient to get a good hookup .... considering the sliders are rigged weedless by "texas rigging". But, now that I'm using stiffer rods & 6lb test .... there may come a situation where I might be convinced to give them another try.
