    Default Suffix fishing line

Read a lot about it and decided to try it!! and I'm REALLY not liking it - it was spooled correctly and the right amount. It was put on the reel between a piece of wet paper towel one to get the light powder off and to stretch it a little.

The stuff casts great but it's so springy I had to keep pulling line off to straighten it out. At one point I had to cut a tangle of it off and re-rig. I'll try it one more time but I'll be darn sure to have extra spools with Trilene ready to go.

What kind of Sufix? I just bought a spool of Elite for my carp reels, but I haven't spooled up yet.

I've been using the Sufix Superior Premium Gopolymer And hate it. I wish I hadn't bought so much
It's wellow and was recommended on CDC.
This stuff waterlogs terribly. Never use this stuff with a slip bobber.

Doug, I've had Sufix Seige Neon Tangerine on my reels (all of them) for over 2 years and it's without a doubt the best mono I've ever used. Maybe you got a bad spool.

I also use Suffix with no issues. A bad spool perhaps?
