The wife and myself got out for a while this morning ran up river water temp. 54 couldn't buy a bite, back down to rock creek couldn't buy a bite. decided to fish main lake coves found some 60 deg. water. And got out fished from the back of the boat again , I think she was throwing my fish back when I wasn't looking . We were pitching small road runners to the bank and bring it out slow , color didn't matter. brought home enough for a couple dinners.

Good to hear Dave....I went out for a couple of hrs and had the same luck as the first part of your day. Got disgusted and pulled the boat to the bank and hunted up a small mess of mushrooms to make me feel better about the fish not cooperating

Dave if you fish with Joedog you learn to drive the boat in reverse so you can't get out fished by the back of the boat! Naw Joyce will still out fish you! Tell her to enjoy her VAC!!!

And just to mess things up a little more, we got a couple days of rain to look forward to.

    Congrats on figuring them out.

You might also try snapping her rod tip off. That might help you out fish her!
