    On the terrova does us2 mean that the ipilot
    is a gen. 2

    us2 is the built in sonar transducer.

    Well, Minn Kota started making the US2 in 2006. Bet you got one.

    US2 has nothing to do with Ipilot. It is a 2d transducer option.

    Think he is asking how you know if you have Gen 1 or Gen 2, if you have the new style remote then you have Gen2 if not mistaken. Think that is the difference.

    The new style Gen 2 is bigger and the markings on the bottuns are white where the old Gen 1 are all black.
