Yep, not sure what the deal is, but the search function has been limited for the last couple of months. Slab may have it turned off or something.
Tried searching for different things, came back as no results. Even tried "crappie" and got the same results ????
anyone else ??

I meant to behave, but there were just way too many other options available at the time.

It works OK for me .... but, it is in a different format than what it used to be (look like). It's a Google Search format, directing the search for whatever key word you enter to look at Crappie.com posts.
However, there have been times in the recent past, when Ed has had it turned off ... and the "no results" page was the only result of a search for anything.
What specifically were you looking for, JIMP ?? I'll see if I can link you to the posts.

Mine hasn't worked for a while.
Mine either.
Can you PM other people? A few months ago, I couldn't, and "G" posted what to do to correct it. It could be possible that you need to go into your settings and upgrade it. Hope "G" reads this, as I can't even remember now what and how to do it.
No issues with PM's at all.
CP:
The "search" function I use is the one at the 1st page of a particular forum, say the Fly Fishing forum, and click on "search this forum" or "search forum", and the results come back as no results when I had just read the word I searched for. I even searched for "crappie" and got no results on a crappie fishing website.
The google search at the top right of each page does a web search, not just a "site" search IIRC and don't use it.
WHY would the search function be turned off, it only leads to the same question being asked over and over again (there is enough of that as it is) . I know its easier to just ask the same question again & again rather than "searching" for it for some people, but you never know what you'll find when you're not looking for it.
