Smith Lake today a lot of small ones

Went to Smith Lake today and caught somewhere between 50 and 60 but only 12 keepers. Most of them were 8" long. Was fun but if the ones that were 8" long would have been 9" or 10". I would have limited out by lunch. Just couldn't find the big ones.

Where you fish on Smith? Minnow or Jigs? Are they still on the banks?

I caught them on minnows and jigs. mostly in 10 - 12 feet of water in tree tops.

I haven't been there much this year but it was always numbers that were hard to get. Size was never a problem. Last year I caught 20ish a few times. I fished Rock Creek a few weeks ago and got skunked. What part of the lake were you fishing?
