Hit up Milford several times this weekend, found the best bite to be between 0500-0730 and again between 1900-2100. Fished deep and shallow but most of the fish were 10 ft down in 15-17 ftow. Looked for the single marks above the schools and targeted them, they seemed to be the only ones biting, trick was to keep raising the jig until they bit because if you stopped it they would turn and head back down! Some fish would hit literally right before the jig broke the surface! Caution... not all of the marks chasing your jig are crappie, I had a couple of nice 4-5lb wipers smack it and they are a handfull when you only have 10ft of 4lb test line out! Set your drag and check it regularly!!
