Default Shallow fish at HD, believe it or not.

Couldn't figure out what to try this morning. I am without a boat, and sometimes that seems to me when I do the best. Fished a bunch of rip rap, no bites. Figured that was the way it was going to be. Put waders on and found a few. Nothing to brag about, cleaned 8. 7 males, one female with runny eggs. I thought she might have got stressed out from being on the stringer. Best bite was on a black and chartruce bobby garland. Was using nibbles but,as much as I was hung up, I quit putting them on. Good fishing to you. See if the Mrs. cant get a picture on here for me. Name: Crappie 04282013.jpg

Took the afternoon off, found them in the same spots. Even found a few shallower. I cleaned 12, 2 were given to me. 11 girls and one boy. Fished 4 foot, to 1 foot. Same colors. Lost several really nice ones (Dropped them as I was putting them on the stringer. Dang Long pole wears me out sometimes) Eggs, aren't looking so good. Sure a strange spring to me but, this Kansas. Never can tell whats going on with the weather. Good fishing to you.

One more report. Fished this morning, same spots, same presentation. Wind was kicking my butt. I was starting to get wet in my waders. Messed around till about 1030, had 3 keepers. Decided to go to the truck, and give my fish away or come up with a new plan. Decided to fish some Rocks, on the southside out of the wind, and ended up with a total of 14. Had 2 that were around 12 and one 13plus. Ended up being a good morning. Back to work tomorrow. Oh, all on a long pole, dabbing around. Black and chartruse was the only color I tried. Good fishing to ya.
