Where to fish near Makinney Texas

Ill be visiting my daughter soon north of Dallas in a small town named Makinney. Anyone know of a good Sacalais lake there?

McKinney is right on Lake Lavon and it's on fire right now. Structure in 8'-3'. Shouldn't be hard to locate plenty of structure, as the lake is fairly low. If you don't have a boat, there's a really good guide on the lake by the name of Mike Wilson. He boat guides and tube guides on Lavon with great results. Phone 214-406-5006.
