Default About to take my chances...

Well i am about to build some structure to put out in Priest (TENN) so i called TWRA to try and get an answer if I could and they told me that they dont handle that. They said I would have to contact the Army Corps of Engineers and they gave me a number to a guy named Matt. After calling and leaving messages with the guy he wont call me back. TWRA told me that they dont ticket for that and I would have to get a permit from the Corps. So im at a crossroads here. Has anyone else dealt with them before. Im about to just take my chances. There was another boat at the gas station loaded down with PVC structure 2 weeks ago to put out for bass i believe. Just wondering what i should do....

X2 or look up numbers for the corp and call someone else. Matt isn't the "Lone Ranger".

Take a look at the Florida board there is a sticky on placing fish attractors in Fl. It is total BS and probably the same type stuff the corps is gonna want. If so it is without a doubt a task for the Midnight Rider.

TWRA spoke to our club and when questioned on the subject, the response was to put them in but cause no hazard. I didn't make the meeting but if you were to ask in the Middle Tennessee Crappie Club section you might get some more info or who to contact.

Crappie.com does not condone illegal activities.

If COE allows you to place cover, then follow their rules/advice.
