Default "It's Another Saturday Night" On Toledo Bend

And probably my last fishing on Toledo Bend until we get some rain. Can't believe how low it is. Going to get a few pictures later of the lake. Guess now I am forced to fish Sam Rayburn now.

Anyway We had a pretty good night using minnows and Jigs. Matter of fact both catfish came on jigs. Also one time caught 2, one on minnow and the other on a Jig. The biggest fish came on Jigs. Here is the pics...

That is a nice combo catch. Did you catch them all on those jigs you tie?

My son was just using minnows, but my wife and I were using both. The bigger fish and the catfish came on Jigs that I tied. We used my Black Widow and what I am calling my Mean Green Jig. The Mean Green has the same body as the Back Widow, but the head is Bright Green and FL, Chartreuse tail.

I had my rig that was a minnow on top and for weight and catching had a 1/4oz. jig on the bottom.

I really didn't keep count on how many each way, but a good number each way.

Nice Catch! At least with the low water level, there is the posabality of getting good visuals structure that can be fished when the water comes back up!

I thought someone would pick up on that, LOL! Rayburn is only about 25 miles from me.

Nice mess of fish there Skipp. I was going to try to get up there next weekend but now my cousin is going to have to work on friday, so I don't know if we will be able to make it or have to wait until a later date.
