in spite of weather forcast,me and the mrs went anyway.fri.put in at bluestone managed to keep 9 crappie and 1 5lbs bluecat.headed back to motel and lady at desk came out and said to take cover that we were under a tornado warning,sure enough grassycreek area had one. we didn't but had a big blow.slept in sat.due to cool forcast,put in at rudd creek access off of 58 abt 11am.went down creek to tapes branch.went to 1st good point on left bank and started longlining,nuthin till abt 3/4 of the way to the back then it started up.worked pointes and channel from 12ft. to 8ft.wound up with 46 solid keepers,about ten real slabs we drug up at 4:30 and left fish biting.best colors was kalins lemon merange,hot pink and chartruse with new ford blue jighead double 1/32 heads.water temp was 68-72.good day had.oh yea as a side note we had it all by our self.a few boats came in threw at the bank a few time and left,not biting huh.just not on the bank.

Did better than us that's for sure. Nothing but short fish for us, but we did put a dent in the channel cat population.

Good catch Mike ,I was glad to hear ya'll weathered the storm ok . Sounds like buggs is the place to be this year maybe the jordan fish will go up by the fall .
