Default These temps ought to cool down the water

We haven't been on Acton since July, but these lows around 50 and cool cloudy days should drop water temps pretty significantly. We will avoid that lake this weekend because of the holiday, but next week...

Anybody been there lately? ODNR is reporting saugeye and channel cat action in deeper water. No mention of crappie.

Everybody have a safe weekend. We'll prolly dip a line at Rush Run and hop the squirrel and dove hunters keep their lead on their side of the lake :-o Roberta

Yes please, Let's hope the water temp drops, I would like to find'em soon.
I'm getting that kind of that shaky feeling that tells me I need to be fishing...
I'm close to looking like one of those guys you see in the detox cell at the county jail.

    Take care!

Yes I agree with you both. I need some fishing time. The saugeyes should start hittings Vibe on the roadbed shortly and the slabs are already hitting but slowly.

Water at Rush Run yesterday was 75 degrees at the surface. We started hitting some real bull bluegills early afternoon - biggest one I caught was almost big enough for a state pin. I'd say they're putting on the feedbag. We plan on going after saugeye and crappie at Acton Saturday. - Roberta
