    Default enjoyed a quicky


    Called a friend to see if he wanted to try the Cape Fear for a few minutes. He was already there. I joined him for about two hrs. Ultra lights for shad. caught 3 white shad and a small stripper. Had another stripe bass (I think) stripped about 100yds off my reel three times before it straitened the hook. Oh well it was fun while it lasted.

    I have always wanted to try the shad. It looks like it would be a lot of fun.
    A bad day fishing is still better than almost anything!!
