    Default 565 Hbird

I have had one on my trolling motor for about 2 months. I like it. When it shows fish you catch fish. Has an audible fish alarm so you can watch your rod tip & line instead of the fishfinder. It will not show your jig as they advertise.

I would bet that if you would turn your sensitivity up your jig would show up.

my buddy has one, it shows structure and all very well. as for seeing the jig, i really think you can see it. with all the possible settings on it, even with the sensitivity set on max, your not gonna see it if you are set on 90 ft of water, but if you are set for 10 to 20 you can see it. Maineiac try setting your depth shallower, this may help.

You can't fish with a hung line!

I have a matrix 25 and it shows the jig. With 2 1/32oz jigs with bass assasins I can see both jigs easily. The thing I like about the finder is the dual view that utilizes both the narrow and wide beam on a split screen. Nice to see what's close and what's directly under you.

    Default jigs

Still can't see the jig no matter what the depth setting. I will play with it some more. I have read the owners manual several times. I still like the fishfinder.

I normally only look for the jigs when I'm fishing deeper water, that way I know if I'm in the strikezone without waiting for a strike. I'd say if you aren't seeing your jigs when you are in the 15 to 20 foot range then you will want to adjust settings. The only place you will see them is on the far right, where you get the real time reading. If you raise them up and down 6 inches or so, you should see the reading over there. I have never seen them in the middle of the finder. Maybe that will help you.
