I had the same problem yesterday. Hopefully it will get better by this weekend. I'm going to get back out there and try it again! A bad day of fishing is still better than a good day at work!

FIshed LKN on Saturday from about 10:30 to 5. We caught 25 crappie, about 20 bass, 4 bream, and 3 perch. We kept 12 crappie between 11 and 14". Most were 12-13" and we threw back any less than 12" unless they weren't likely to survive. We only caught a couple over 10' deep. Most were 2-5" deep with a few right on the bank. But, they were not all the way back up in the coves - just a little ways out and mostly on steeper banks with some cover.

It was a great day on the lake with plenty of good catchin'.

Not familiar with that body of water but I couldnt find one to save my life 3 weeks ago when the water was in the high 50 degree range as someone said it was in an earlier post. The last 2 weeks my lake has been between 63-69 degrees and they all moved shallow then less than 6' of water. Dont know but they tend to drop back to the first drop off of banks if you have had any cold weather in your area lately.

Here if I find them shallow on the bank and we get a cold spell I can usually find them at the closest drop off...good luck. Maybe yours havent hit the pre spawn yet if the water is still that cold...not sure.

I caught 44 today with only 2 under 9". All were caught on jigs in 2' - 5' of water ON WOOD. I was fishing above 150 bridge, between state park & long island access.
