    Default 'Enter'

Is it my computer that doesn't work? Like on this forum. When I want to make a new sentence and hit enter. The curser doesn't do a thing. I have to continue with a sentence.

Do you have a cord or cordless mouse. I use a corded mouse with my desktop, but a cordless with my laptop. The corded mouse doesn't give me any problems but all too often the cordless mouse refuses to cooperate. It kind of sounds like you computer is too busy with other tasks to respond to a keyboard command. Or you keyboard's enter key isn't playing fair. Have you tried to use the other "Enter" key?

Short grub, I believe you nailed it. Never a problem before I updated to 10. I'll try to unload 10.

It's IE 10. Go to your control panel, program features, uninstall the IE 10 update via "installed updates" on the left panel, and everything will work fine with IE 9. Or, just get rid of IE and use Firefox...but that's a whole other subject.

SG ... IE9 started having load time issues (took FOREVER to move from page to page), so I just installed Google Chrome. I still have IE9, but don't use it unless I absolutely have to. No problems with Chrome.

Here's some advice you won't hear much and may not like - turn OFF automatic updating of your software, if you can. Automatic updates are almost never for your benefit, just the software pushers, and break more things than they fix. If it ain't broke, don't fix it.
