    Default Off topic help

I know this is the wrong place for this post, but i figured more people come here than on the off topic board. I have a Sentry safe that I lost the combination for, it is still set on the default combo i purchased it with. Walmart will not tell me and Sentry has a list of things and money they want before they will give me the combination. If any of you have a similar safe Sentry g2214, could you please IM me with the default combination? Thanks

If you don't get the combo from any one you might try taking it to a lock smith or have the lock smith come to you. It will cost but it will be open. The lock smith could reset the combo for you too.

    Good Luck...

yeah i thought about the locksmith idea, just the nearest one to where i live is about 30 minutes, so i could get costly.

All the safes with the same model number are sold with the same combo and instructions on how to change it to your personal, i just didnt change it.
    thanks though.

I would highly recommend paying the fee and call the factory. A locksmith would be a good idea but I would feel safer with someone from the factory who is trained and probably does stuff like this every day.

Thank all of you who responded to this post, I think I will end up getting the notorized paper, money, and whatever else the company is requiring and get it from them. I like the locksmith idea, but i had others tell me they talked to some locksmiths in my regard and they recomended getting with the company. It just stinks, thats 30 bucks i could use towards more tackle or something else.
anyway, thanks again to all that replied...........Johnny

Johnny...go to you bank and use their notary. Most are free when you have an account at that bank

I've got an idea but it's a little underhanded. Go to Wal Mart & buy another safe, get the combo, then take it back.
