Some guys and I have started an Illinois crappie camp on Lake Shelbyville. This camp is for the whole family and has lots of things to do including a fish fry, a country/bluegrass band, a bucket raffle with lots of great prizes and games for the kids. It will be held on May 17th - 19th at Eagle Creek State Park. For more info, go to the Illinois forum and check it out. This camp is not just Illinois fishermen but anyone who want to enjoy our lake, and don't worry if you don't know the lake, there will be plenty of people that will lend a hand to let you know where the fish are and it should be right in the middle of the spawn bite too. Our camp is this weekend and if you're in the area please stop in and say hello. Fish fry and bucket raffle on Saturday. We got 2-2 person guided trips in our raffle, 1 on Rend Lake with Mean Green aka Nick Schafer and 1 on one of the big 4 in mississippi with Feelay. Plus lots of other great prizes.
