    Default Guntersville crappie

Just got home after a week of crappie fishing. We did extremely well! I will give a detailed report tomorrow evening. Tired and going to bed.

Caught 300 fish between three of us last week. Caught fish trolling in the back of creeks. Mainly used 1/16 hot grubs. Caught a lot of fish casting into grass on flats using bg chartreuse colors in the back of creeks. Right now I would say the most productive method would be casting into the grass on flats. Mill creek, short creek, spring creek and south salty all were good for me. Hope this report helps someone. If anyone has any questions ill be glad to share what I know. Oh! Most of the fish we caught were in the 11-12 inch range. This week should be red hot! We also fished for bass a couple of days and caught a few nice ones. Rattle traps, spinnerbaits, chatter baits, and jerk baits worked for us. Caught them around flats as well.
