    Default Attaching leader to braid.

Help please. I've been using the double uni knot for attaching fluorocarbon to braid. The problem is that my
knot keeps hanging on my rod guides when casting. Suggestions anyone?

Here is a great knot site.
Albrite looks good and do use it joining heavier mono leaders to braid. Check them all out.

I use the Uni knot with 5 wraps on each line. Since each knot down separately then pull together.

I use the Albright knot also. I loop the floro and wrap the braid, haven't had any issues with it.

The best knot for this is the Red Phillips knot...it's the smallest I've found that will still be effective. You can see how to tie it on you tube.

Thanks, I'm going to try this knot. I've always used the double uni, but this looks easier and quicker to tie. Hopefully it will be just as strong.

Yes, the double Uni does create way too much bulk to flow freely through a rod's guides. The Albright is a much better alternative. I actually use the Alberto, which is a sort of double Albright. Fairly easy to tie once you set your mind to it and do a little practicing. Actually these knots (Albright & Alberto) are not "knots" at all....rather a series of wraps....similar to the old Chinese handcuffs we use to get in cereal boxes when I was a kid. They will flow freely through guides with no worry of line breakage.
