Got my order from grizzly jig's tues.new 7 ft sam heaton rod and some bobby garland bait's.they get your order out fast.went to the lake friday first cast with my new rod and bobby garland bait's bam a 9 "crappie and my new pole broke 2 eye's from the top.i love sam's rod's have 3 and never had that happin before.
Called wade at grizzly he said to send it back and they would take care of it.
They have the best customer's service you would want and anything for crappie to.
Will ship it back monday can't wait to get one back i thank i'm going to like the feel of the sam's 7ft. Pole. Has anyone had trouble with the 7 ft rod's

Jim ... I have one of the Sam Heaton Signature Series 7' rods, that I've used quite a bit ... and it's never given me the slightest hint of a problem.
Sounds like yours may have been damaged in transit (from China or from Grizzly), or possibly came from a defective batch of rod blanks.

I broke a brand new Sam Heaton 10' rod last year on the 1st fish I caught with it. It broke in almost the same spot you mentioned. I took it back where I bought it and they had 2 more just like it broken in the exact same spot as mine. No issue with the replacement. Coincidence?

Thanks I love Sam Heston rods.grizzly jigs has the best price on there stuff.wish they was in Ohio and not cabelas.they don't have stuff for a crappie fisherman in stock.
