    Default Wolf Lake, NW Indiana


    I'm a newbie to crappie fishing, and was wondering if anyone here may have fished Wolf Lake in Lake County before. I understand that there is a healthy population of crappie there, but I have only caught the occasional crappie while walleye or bass fishing. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

    the corn channel and along the toll road seem to be the best locations...there's some real dandies in there if you can locate them.
    Roaming the banks of the Kankakee River and anywhere else fish might lurk.
