dont have a pic, but drilled a hole in the depoly handle, and ran it through there. Then I zip tied it at the top and bottom of the shaft, not snag proof, but keeps it pretty tight to the shaft

I did a little experiment to see if I could stop killing TD's on my PDV2. I broke the wires on 2 before I got it right. At least it hasn't killed a TD in quite a while. I took a few pics, hope they help.

I made a stand off for the wire at the head, then used a small bungee, for cable stretch. The stand off keeps the cable from getting pinched in the mount. I made the stand off with a 1/4 " turnbuckle. I happened to have another shaft collar, but you could use the original one.Name: 002.jpg

i think i have it handled. i will post some pics tomorrow. what i did was to install two screweyes into the release lever. i ran the td cord through them, the tied the td cord to the shaft above the locking lever then down through the spiral cable. the cord has no way to get pinched while being deployed or retrieved. it is still a little loose on the shaft, and that is unavoidable due to the nature of the beast!!!!!
