Size: 77.3 KB I am trying a new style . Used the pipe to move a building and thought this would make a good home somewhere. Thought when the wood rotted I could reload it again. I have better luck with wood rather than all PVC. Come on Fall !!

    That should hold fish.
I bet it will be a long time before the oak rots out of that.
Let us know how it turns out.

Looks like one of my old deceased Dad's CB antennas he use to make, think it was called a moonraker.---It should catch fish though.

Used to use those oldhams alot.Problem after a couple fish it really messed the weed guard up.Then I bought a mold from do-it and pour our own. That way we use a larger hook up to a 3/8oz and we get very few hang ups.
Nice looking structure. What are you going to weight it down with?PJ

I use a 5 gal bucket with sakcrete mixed up in it,then I stick bamboo in the sakcrete sticking strait up (less of a chance of getting hung up), and drop where needed. They seem to last for a while....

Size: 88.2 KB Thanks for all the comments. I thought I would slide two concrete blocks on the ends and put the stakes back in . The last few years I have been screwing the stakes onto pallets but they are hard to manage sometimes by myself. Thinking about making a 3' by 3' mold and pouring concrete but I don't like the price of the concrete. I try to use whats free. Hope everyone has a good fall fishig time !!
