Default Lake George Cullman - Yahoo!

We caught 35 (kept 31) in 2 hrs 45 mins in the rain on Lake George in Cullman yesterday afternoon. Found them on the edges of weeds and shallow trees (2' to 6' dp) using BG Natural Cricket, BG Threadfin Shad and Junebug/Char Slider. No monsters but what a day. Had to share because its our biggest catch since starting this Crappie expedition last summer. Thanks for the tips, thats what helped make it happen.

BensGoneFishing - Yeah the darkest one was right on the edge of the weeds seems like all the darker fish were close to the weeds.

Nice catch! That is one really pretty black crappie too. I thought the ones in Smith looked good but, man is that a pretty fish!

Awesome! I'm glad to know George does have some decent crappie in it. BTW, have you ever tried Forrest Ingram in Cullman?
