    Default Pre-Rigged Plastics Rusting Hooks?

Just wondering if pre-rigging plastics that contain scent and salt (particularly ones with salt) has any effect on the integrity of the hook?

If so, how long do you think it takes to effect the hooks?

    and

If so, is there a style and/or brand that it effects more?

    Thanks

Salt rusts hooks because it's hydrophilic. It draws moisture from humidity in the air. You know those silicone dehumidifier packets they put in packages of dried fruit and electronics devices? Put one of those in the bag and it will keep the hooks from rusting. As long as you seal them up tight, they would probably keep for a long time.

I do not put the plastics on the hook until I am ready to fish it...so I really do not know. This is how I have been storing my pre-tied rigs,

I'm getting more and more fond of black\nickel chrome hooks. They will not rust.
