    Default Tara Hills Golf Course?


    Bout a week ago, a man who i saw and met fishing at Halleck for trout mentioned a pond back behind home depot on Washington St. Said it has some very good crappie in it. Now, I know Tara Hill Golf Course is back there and it has a couple ponds. I'm pretty sure a golf course isn't quite a welcoming area for someone fishing. I think there are 4 ponds back there, 2 large, 2 small. I don't know if all of them are on the golf course grounds. Has anyone else tried fishing around that area, or heard of people (legally) fishing back there?

    Nevermind, I realized the area he was talking about is Schewer park. That is a public fishing area.

    It is Schewer Pond Park. take Centennial st to get there. EB
