Default What type of reel for spider rig?

I am debating on what type of reel will be best for spider rigging. Is the mini bait caster, the mini spinning reels or one of the cheap ones like this

I am setting this up and trying not to break the bank so what are y'all's opinions on these reels and what do you prefer? Thanks!

I like baitcasters with thumb bars....It makes it so much easier to let some line out when fishing shallow as you get your 14 ft. pole verticle to bring the fish to the boat. Just a little practice and you can do it one handed in one continous movement and use the other hand for the net if need be. You can shop around on line and buy Shakesphere or Quantum baitcasters with the thumb bar for anywhere from 20 to 25 bucks apiece. Give Grizzly Jig Co. a call.
I have spent most my life fishing........the rest I wasted.

Currently I use spinning reels, but I have fished with a guy that had baitcasters with a thumb bar. One day I will have baitcasters as my set up

I buy small bait casters on e-bay, mostly Lews.
