Got my first depth/fish finder for my lil flat boat.

You're going to enjoy that 120. I have the 140C only because I had the extra cash at the time. The 120 would have been just fine. Sure there may be fancier systems, but if you want temp, depth, and sense of the bottom density and structure, you will be happy. I can't say that I have caught more fish just because I have a Fishin' Buddy, but I can say that I am more confident about where I am fishing. That fishing "blind" mode didn't do anything for my curiosity about whether I was fishing in an area where fish like to hang out. Now I know for sure when I am in a better location. It makes fishing more fun with that extra knowledge going into the brain about the bottom of the lakes I fish.
