Cold water crappie off the bank- where to target?

Anywhere in the spring you can find rip rap or trees in the water. I haven't had much luck fishing mud bank areas at this time of year but if you have brush in the water you never know. Try to find areas with deep water near by. Mouth of bays are a good place to try now. Move in the bay to shallower water as the water gets warmer.

most any runoff ditch or wash will have trash/sticks ect . we used to cast road runners in and arround these area .even from a boat this tech . is highly overlooked .
