I caught a 4 lb drum on my 10 ft Thursday. And it sure handled it it great. Hard to believe that a rod this light can handle a fish like it does. I have 2 of them and will be picking up 2 more .

Was fishing down in Carolina today and caught a 10-12lb blackfish on one of Sam's 12 footers. The pole was fantastic. That thing had that drag screaming at times.

The 3 best crappie rods money can buy in my opinion and, you know what they say about opinions :D
Sam Heatons super sensitive 12' BnM
Wally Marshall pro series 9'
Browning Noodle 10'6"
All have Cork handles wich is a must for me personally.
I'm sick of following my dreams. I'm just going to ask them where they're goin' and hook up with them later.
I like my Wally Marshall's as well - Think I will invest in the Sam Heaton's by spring - I think my wife would love about 3 of them for Christmas

Same as a Bowfin or Grinnel. I read an article about them and it seems they go back to prehistoric days. They often bite just like a bass except rarely jump. They can flat tear up some gear in a hurry. BTW, those Snakefish that are causing problems in some area look just like them except have bigger teeth.Originally Posted by crap-king
