Central IL fishing status?

I have been going to the normal crappie areas here on the IL river north of peoria. But due to the dredging in the Peoria pool the water is low and fishing seems to be off.

Has any one else noticed this?

I was even throwing for bass and couldnt buy a bite. That is not normal.

Can't speak for the Illinois river but, the KASKASKIA river is also low. Does not seem to be affecting the bite that much. My brother has been doing fairly well where the river runs into Lake Shelbyville.
