    Default Beginner trolling rod

I m wanting to start spider rigging for crappie. I am wandering what is a good pole to use. I'm wanting to use a 12 foot model and not spend alot of money. Do you guys have any suggestions?

DO yourself a HUGE favor and buy BnM prostaff trolling rods.
I use the 14' rods and love them.
They aren't the cheapest out there but why waste your money on something and then turn around and buy the BnM.
Grizzly Jig has the best prices.

If you want 12 footers these West Points can't be beat for the money. Great for spider rigging and long lining.

Yep, I hear the dont buy cheap you'll just change later and its a waste of money. I dont buy it, have been using Pinnacle Limits for 2 years now for spider rigging and pulling cranks and love them. Have fished with others that have Caps/Coleman, PSTs, Ozarks and whatever and I just dont see the difference. Good luck with whatever you decide.

Thanks guys for the advice I'm glad to hear that I can get some for less than I suspected. What kind of reels would be the best?
