Default Digital readout box, 998 HB

Gonna make it out this weekend to play with my new Toys. Been poking around on my new 998 and
was trying to figure out, if it is possible to move the digital readout box? Either left of, or bottom of screen, or remove completely? could not find it in the manual.... Thanks in advance.

The readout boxes can be turned off in the full screen SI view only...(water temp and depth will be overlayed in the bottom left of the screen)...

I think the setting to turn off "SI Readouts" is under the "Sonar" tab in the main menu...

(You might think about adding your opinion about the readout boxes in an email to HB ...it's been on the wish list for a LONG time now)...

Seriously...email or call HB and tell them how you feel about the huge non-removable (non-overlayable) readout boxes on all view screens...

Customer feedback is how things on the "HB Wishlist" get addressed...

You are so right Rick. I'll send an email. Thanks for you help.

That box is a little annoying!

This Wishlist item has been on the boards since before 2010...

HB will eventually change it...if enough customers ask for it...

Encourage anyone you know to contact HB about getting the Readout boxes "overlay-able" on all screens...
