    Default keeping minnows in pond

I have a small pond on our property, not very deep, but a pond anyway. I would like to be able to keep minnows in a cage for use in Sam Rayburn Lake. We live about 5 miles from the lake. A trip to the minnow store is quiet a ways. I need advise on what kind of cage to build so I can dip minnows out as needed and return any unused. Thanks in advance.

1/4" hardware cloth is what's needed as the skin. At least as big around as a 55 gal. barrel and as deep as the pond. PVC can be used as the frame, drill hole through it so it will sink. Drive a long stake where you want it to stay and tie to it.
