I use needle nose pliers.
Whats the best way of bending the barb back down on the hooks?
I use needle nose pliers.
Dremel tool.
Needle nose is what I use..
The dremel tool.....hum yeah thanks, that will be faster and a better job.
I favor the needle nose as well. All my hooks - including trebles - have the barbs crushed down. I'd be a bit leery about using the Dremel though. Having been in manufacturing for many, many years, I can tell you that it doesn't take much to draw the temper of spring steel.

Just out of curiosity, why are ya'll bending the barbs down?
Didn't think about heat and it can travel faster then lighting.
I bend my down in case I get a hook in the finger or side the nose it will be much easier to pull the hook out without screaming bloodly murder.
I gotcha, thought maybe ya'll had some crazy law or sumtin.
