    Default need some seat help

I am a "big" guy...about 290lbs, and we sit out ALL day when we fish. My rear end gets a little "fatiqued" and even hurts something fierce by the end of the day. I am actually working on a patent for an idea that I have, but not ready to get it out there 100% yet, and will probably be more ready for that this next year. However, I am needing to figure out a good, comfortable seat for an all day fish! I am considering a high back seat, as I am also 6'3". I have been looking at the Tempress NaviStyle High Backs and the Wise Premium line. My problem is the seat "bottoming" out after a period of time, and that is what hurts.

I'm looking to try to spend no more than that $130/chair if possible. I have some good prices, but I would like to hear some good reviews from people who sit and fish...not get fed up and leave after 30 minutes of not catching anything. You know, experience...

    Thanks...

Wheel chair cushion will solve your problem, just lay it on what ever seat your are using. Keeping it in place may be an issue but a bungee strap should do the trick.

I fish the Wise Big Man seat with arm rests, I can't comment on all day because I only fish 4-5 hrs but I like them. The best prices I found on seats was at

Can't beat the Tempress Hi-Back Navistyle for all day comfort. I weigh around 260 and haven't had any problem with them bottoming out.

    Might try something like this:

    Cabela's: Hunter's Specialties® Bunsaver Seat Cushion

I find similar ones at wally world in the hunting section, and use 'em on my mower, and in kayaks. Wife would use one on the motorcycle as well,

I meant to behave, but there were just way too many other options available at the time.

I've got a Wise big man seat but it stays at home now that I've got a set of Tempress seats. No comparison in all day comfort.

I've been thinking about Tempress navi style seats. I think you guys have just sold me on them.
